ENVS 301: Environmental Issues Today (SENIORS ONLY)
This seminar exposes EFP students to different disciplinary perspectives on specific environmental issues. Topics change each semester to reflect current environmental concerns.
ENVS 350: Environmental Problems Assessment Workshop (SENIORS ONLY)
Working in teams and drawing on their disciplinary knowledge, students will analyze the technological, political and social issues surrounding an environmental problem. After identifying causes, consequences and potential remedies, students will develop recommendations for action.
Capstone Project (Junior or senior year)
Allowing the student to focus on a topic of his or her particular interest, the Capstone Project gives EFP students an opportunity to work with a faculty member on campus, complete an internship, or otherwise delve into an environmental issue. The Capstone Project is self-directed and is taken for independent study or internship credit.
