Alternative Spring Break - a student-run organization whose participants engage in social and environmental activism through direct service, a commitment to diversity, and life long learning initiated by community interactions and group reflections. https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ro/www/AlternativeSpringBreak/

Ecological Design Consortium - a multidisciplinary student, staff, and faculty organization at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign established to promote the use and integration of ecological, economical, and equitable design solutions for the built environment. https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ro/www/EcologicalDesignConsortium/

Engineers without Borders -- The mission of Engineers Without Borders is to improve the quality of life in impoverished countries by implementing both socially and ecologically beneficial engineering projects. http://www.ewb-uiuc.org.

Environmental Law Society - promotes awareness of environmental in the law school community; hosts a variety of speakers to discuss professional opportunities in the field of environmental law; and sponsors the environmental moot court competition. The society also maintains contact with legislators and environmental groups so that members may take advantage of available opportunities to research legislative bills or write amicus briefs.

Green Observer Magazine - an all-campus newsletter for the University of Illinois. A cooperative effort between every major environmental group on campus with the purpose of getting the green word out at the UI.

Grand Prairie Friends - preserving and restoring Illinois' prairie heritage in East Central Illinois. http://www.prairienet.org/gpf/

Illini Student Chapter of the Wildlife Society - to promote excellence through wildlife stewardship by providing opportunities to gain experience and knowledge about wildlife biology, conservation and management and to foster campus and community awareness of wildlife issues. https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ro/www/

Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS) Student Group - fosters the science and the art of soil, water, and related natural resource management to achieve sustainability. We promote and practice an ethic recognizing the interdependence of people and the environment.
